Terms of Service

1. Provider

Rekruit is operated by Aitonomy Solutions KIG, Münchensteinerstrasse 117, 4053 Basel, Switzerland ("Aitonomy", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@aitonomy.ch.

2. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Rekruit platform by:

• Recruiters / hiring organisations — companies and individuals who create an account to post jobs, manage applications, and use AI-assisted hiring tools.
• Candidates — individuals who submit job applications through a Rekruit-powered application form.

By accessing the platform or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms.

3. Recruiter accounts

• Accounts are for business use. You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• Each subscription is for a single organisation. Sharing access across unrelated entities is not permitted.
• You may invite team members under your organisation. You are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or remain inactive for an extended period after notice.

4. Candidate applications

• By submitting an application you confirm the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Application data is processed on behalf of the hiring organisation. Aitonomy acts as a data processor for that organisation; the hiring organisation is the data controller for your application data.
• Your application data will not be used for any purpose other than evaluating your application for the specific role you applied to, and the associated platform operations described in the Privacy Policy.

5. AI features

The platform uses AI to assist with CV parsing, application scoring, and interview question generation. AI-generated scores and summaries are advisory tools for recruiters and do not constitute autonomous decisions. Final hiring decisions are made by the hiring organisation. Aitonomy does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated outputs and is not liable for hiring decisions made using them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable employment, discrimination, or data protection law.
• Post job listings that are fraudulent, misleading, or not for genuine open positions.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform by automated means.
• Transmit malicious code, interfere with platform infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system.
• Use candidate data obtained through the platform for purposes other than evaluating that candidate for the advertised role.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance. Prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except as required by applicable law. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; your payment data is governed by Stripe's terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Rekruit platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Aitonomy and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You retain ownership of content you submit (job descriptions, candidate data) and grant Aitonomy a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after the update date constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Aitonomy's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Aitonomy is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Data protection

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. For data processed on behalf of hiring organisations, Aitonomy acts as a data processor and the hiring organisation acts as data controller. Hiring organisations are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis for collecting candidate data through the platform.

12. Cookies

The platform uses a single session cookie for authentication. No advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies are used. The session cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and does not require your consent. For full details see our Cookie Policy.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Basel-Stadt, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
